I was chatting with a friend and I asked him about an extra curricular project we were doing and he told me that he’s got no time and this just dropped into my mind; everybody’s got 24 hours and scientifically the same number of brain cells but why is it that some are better than others? just then, something told me the answer: time management.
”Time management?” you might wonder; I have heard this before and it’s nothing’ . But continue reading.
I observed that some people sit in front of laptops, televisions, and chat on social networks for hours.
Note: am not saying that these things are bad, I also do them. But to be outstanding you have to discipline yourself in Time management.
Make a time table if not written, set for yourself what you must do each day:
- Pray daily
- Do any chore
- Read books in relation to your profession or goal.
- Read a novel.
- Check things that interest you (in books, on internet).
- Chat with friends.
- Play educational games.
- Watch TV if need be.
- Sit in silence and meditate for 20 minutes daily.
Before you think of setting your time, let’s check whether you really have time. Sit and think of how you spent yesterday. Was yesterday productive? If no, then you’ve wasted yesterday. CHANGE!
I hope you got something, try and make good use of your time. Thank you.
